Fitness Class Registration
CLASS LEVELS: 1.Beginners 2-3. Intermediate 4. Advanced
Combinations of step patterns on 4 or 8 inch platforms will keep the body and mind challenged. Class formats will include Step and Tone, Interval Step, and Step Circuit. In addition, floor exercises and strength moves will be taught using a variety of equipment and techniques. Because of the variety of exercises you will be experiencing, you will never get bored. Two opportunities to take this class: M/W/every other Friday at 8:30 am or M/W at 5:35 p.m.
Indoor Group Cycling Levels 2-4 A great cardio workout! This high energy, aerobic class on the LeMonds indoor bikes is sure to increase for cardiovascular endurance and strength. Because you set the resistance and the pace, this class is for beginners through advanced participants. You will run, race, accelerate, and climb your way to a higher level of fitness while burning those extra calories. While techniques are consistent among our instructors, each choreographs their own routines to their own music. Classes are taught on T/R at 6:00 am; M/W at 4:40 pm; T/R at 5:25 pm; Additional drop-in classes on Sundays will be added.
Whether you are just beginning to add weight training to your overall fitness program, want a consistent weight workout, or want to expand your routine, this is the class for you. Weight training helps you tone various muscle groups, increase flexibility, and of course add to your overall muscular strength. Dumbbells, weight machines, bands, bars, and medicine balls will all be used to add a great variety to your workout. Class is offered at 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
C.S.I. (Cardio Strength Intervals) - Level 2-4 A new class that is a spin off of our popular Weights for All class. This interval workout combines both strength training and cardio working both the muscular and cardiovascular systems. Gain muscle strength and increase your cardiovascular endurance all at the same time. Class is offered on Tues. and Thurs. at 6:25 pm. and Monday & Wednesday mornings at 6:00 am.
This shallow water workout enables participants to ease muscle and joint stiffness as well as attain a light cardiovascular workout while you work at your pace and level. This is a drop-in class open to members and the public. Members may purchase an aerobics punch pass for this class and save money. Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00am.
This is the perfect water aerobic workout for beginner to intermediate levels. Even if you never have worked out in the water, this user friendly aqua class will make your body stronger, leaner, and toned. Class is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6am.
Incorporated into this class is aerobics, toning exercises, strengthening exercises, step, and deep water workout. A great workout in the water with a lot of variety to hit all the fitness areas. Class is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30pm.
